What is B.I.T.E.?

Our region’s commitment to sustainability starts with its small businesses and local communities. B.I.T.E.(Bridge It Together for Everyone) serves to connect
consumers to best-in-practice local businesses and elevate business’ values through climate and equity actions. It’s a way to bridge the gap between meaningful purchases that positively affect our region and the businesses that provide goods and services responsibly. Take a B.I.T.E. out of Pittsburgh whether you are visiting for the first time or have lived here your whole life and experience our nationally recognized
sustainable culture.

Who can participate?

Many types of southwestern PA businesses that care about sustainability, community, and local growth are welcome — including:
